Review on 🧾 Nakabayashi Co., Ltd. 3-in-1 Manual Shredder: Ideal for Paper, Card, and CD/DVD – Letter Size, 3.3L Capacity (White) by Louis Asok

I used to have several choppers. All were electric. The first one was cut into strips so I switched it to a cross shredder for more security. Unfortunately, both the original cross grinder and its replacement wore out over time. Not wanting to spend money replacing them, using the energy to run them, and the space they take up in a very small office, I decided to hand sharpen (yes, scissors). After shredding about 18 inches of stacked papers (cleaning out the filing cabinet), I decided I had more important things to do with my time and started looking for opportunities that existed. My search found these manual hand powered paper shredders. I spent a lot of time researching options, reading reviews, comparing specs, etc. Got this model. I have to say I was very satisfied and felt a bit like a kid with a new toy once I started using it. It's MUCH better than cutting with scissors every day of the week and I no longer have calluses from all the cuts. My experience with this shredder: Pros: Takes up little space. Easily fits on a shelf or in a small space. Manual. No power supply is required for operation. Calm. Torn into very small pieces, there is no chance of anyone putting the torn documents back together. The transparent bottom makes it easy to see when it needs to be emptied. The lid is not attached to the base and will come off during use. The handle is unreliable and often breaks off during use. Can effectively shred only one sheet of paper at a time. Some sheets or cards are not shredded properly and need to be passed through multiple times to be thoroughly shredded. Overall I like this grinder. It meets my needs and is a good compromise between an electric shredder and a hand shredder. I am happy with my purchase. Oh, as for CDs, I found this little machine does the job quite well. He chews through the plastic like nothing happened.
