You know, I have other #10 circular needles. I even have a set that's that length. I used to think I needed a slightly shorter set, so I ordered them. That's when I noticed the difference between the brands. The usable length of the working needle is longer here and also has a longer point. I have found that the length allows me to hold my work more securely, and the longer tip helps me not to loosen the loops as easily. I then noticed that the rope/wire between the needles was a lot more relaxed than the one I was using. I have been using for many years. ALL good reasons for me to get this set :D
