In the summer heat, they deform and become thin!

I bought these because I was planning to put a new barrel cover on my truck because the strut holes were showing. This is a very good product, but if you leave them without pressure in the summer, they get so hot that they warp and slowly come out. I put them on two days before I planned to put the bedspread on the bed. One ended up on the freeway at 55mph so unfortunately I had to buy another set :(. This is a great product just make sure you have something on top to put pressure on it.
