Review on MICHELIN X-Ice 3 195/65 R15 95T winter by Celina Zduczyk ᠌

Great value for money, one of the best offers.

First, the lyrics: Once upon a time, the spikes were not used at all, of course, and I remember driving quite comfortably on the all-weather season (BI-some kind). For the last 15 years, my passenger cars were all on spikes in the winter. This winter, I looked at a good tread and half of the remaining spikes, I won’t say what kind of rubber, and decided to remember the Velcro. Of course, progress has been evident since I started riding spikes))) Essentially now. Cold rubber slips and slides terribly of course on slippery, it is necessary to warm up the rubber at the beginning of the trip! When climbing the ramp, the oncoming car forced it to stop, it couldn’t move up at zero temperature and rolled snow, but the rubber was cold and I’m not sure that it would have started on the spikes there . rolled down backwards. The warmed-up rubber on absolutely bare ice adequately slows down and accelerates. The beginning of January I went to Valdai, where the streets were poured like water all over the purest ice and I tested acceleration and braking to my heart's content. Even the ABS does not really rumble when the pedal is to the floor. Here, a side skid can and does take place, but at speed it completely entered the turn without any special demolitions, although the ESP was actively working, but it also moonlights on spikes in the same way. On the highway, too, and acceleration and braking in frost under -30 at a decent level. And this one went really quieter than the summer Michelins! Only at the tire shop the guy cursed . he couldn’t pump it up in any way. The sides are soft and there was no way to spread them to the edges of the disk and the air went past. He swore very much and said he would not undertake to collect such ones anymore . like I was the second one who came to him with such ones.

Pros
  • Quieter than the summer Michielins. On bare ice, it also behaves quite well with warm tires.
Cons
  • Haven't found one for Velcro yet.
