Manual clamping but holds well

The packaging says not to trap hands. I have a version that looks like regular channel blockers and I like it; in whichever position the handles are not pinched. Unfortunately, I found out the hard way why they would do it. When I first opened the package, I moved my jaws to the minimum position and squeezed the handles, expecting them to be the same as the other version, and ended up with half my palm between the handles. It seems to be done mostly on the smallest settings only. Also, I've found that if you find the right cutout for what you're holding, which appears to be 1 click oversized, they grip really well. When you find an exact size setting that will grip a nut or pipe fitting you may not be able to squeeze hard enough, but one more click and it will grip much better. I've used them on a few tube fittings and have had good luck. Just watch your palms.

Cons
