Review on Fit System 99258 Rendezvous Replacement by Auden Paz

The description says that it can be installed on a broken mirror. After receiving the product and the accompanying instructions, this is not always the case. Additionally, if parts of the mirror are missing, they instruct to take a hammer and smash the mirror enough to remove it completely, before mounting the mirror on a clean surface. While this required a bit more effort in the process and the adhesive strips were appropriate for this scenario, I think a traditional adhesive pad would have eliminated this additional process. The mirror itself fits perfectly hence four stars for this part but food for thought here is what is supplied and not described before receipt.
