Review on Proofing Magnetic Cabinet Locks Safety by Hector Liamsi

Magnetic protection for small children

Pros: I liked that the child protection is not visible. And it works for drawers or cabinets without the folding handles that some other child safety locks require. In fact, after installing it, I liked the first set so much that I immediately bought two more sets. But after a few days of use the problems started and I really regret the purchase. Probably my worst baby/baby related purchase I've ever made! Cons: 1. The first set arrived with two sets missing. A noticeable amount is missing for the price paid. I emailed the seller and they responded quickly with several options including returning them for a refund or resending the missing pair. So far, so good. I replied by asking them to send the missing two because I already had them installed and besides I liked them. Then I never heard from them again and never got the missing locks. Contacted 3 times and never got a reply. Dissatisfied -1 star2. Then the floodgates began to randomly open and open. how safe is it It's okay to keep kids out of drawers so they don't mess up or lose things, but some kitchen cabinets have glass and dishwasher tabs. You must be 100% protected. Sometimes the locks don't open by accident by themselves, but when the kids (little girls who just turned 1 year old) shake the cabinet or drawer handles or pull a little, they're already unlocked! I ended up having to buy the ugly ones that come out through the cabinet handles even though they were already installed. - 2 stars, maybe more depending on how much security you want from a child safety device. Well, it's better to be safe than slick, which is why I use ugly substitutions, but then.3. They can be set to unlock when not needed. Such a great feature. If only they were locked up by mistake! Now I had to remove two child locks to get into the closets. So frustrating. -1 star4. It often takes two hands to place the magnet in the right place with one and to open it with the other. Magnets need care and kids find magnets interesting but given the size they can actually be a choking Gadzard?! -1 Star A total of 0 or negative stars. Worst product I have ever bought and regret it every time I open my closets. It was such a promising product but due to the poor customer service and design I can't believe it has so many positive reviews.
