I bought this for my 2005 Toyota 4Runner which my daughter drives. At 19 she managed to break the old one and this one had some good reviews and was advertised as working but although this gas cap technically FITS the gas spout I couldn't fix it. I tried to squeeze like a medicine bottle. Tried turning it in the opposite direction. I carefully tried to twist it into place. The cap clicked, clicked, clicked as if closing, but I was able to remove it immediately. Completely useless for my purposes. To return.
