Review on Circuit Performance Aluminum Valve Stem by Oso Mears

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Do not do that. in shafts and valve covers

, did you look good? Yes. until I had to take them off. I went to inflate one of my tires after they had been running for about 6 months. What I didn't know is that if you put aluminum caps directly onto a brass valve stem, there is a reaction between the two metals that will corrode and block them. I tried everything and couldn't get it off! I actually had to replace all four tires (and sensors) to get to the tires. I had no idea that was a thing. I knew I should have paid more attention to school science. They don't have a plastic insert inside that is necessary to prevent this. To sum it up, some cheap caps cost me $. Save yourself, do NOT do this to them. There are much better alternatives in the auto parts trade.
