Pros: The picture quality of this camera is decent. Cons: I placed the camera out of sight behind the rearview mirror. To see that it's at the right angle and that the display is obscured by a mirror, I have to connect to the camera's Wi-Fi. To do this, there is a button on the side that you have to press to start the Wi-Fi network and connect from my phone. That's fine for the initial setup, but annoying when watching videos. Every time I want to review the video footage (to review the settings the way I want it), I have to press the side button and then reconfigure the camera after touching it. Another downside is that you have to keep the app open while the video is downloading, which is very slow. UPDATE I watched video of what happened and realized the picture was so bad I couldn't read the vehicles number plates. directly from me. I checked the recording specifications and the video is only recorded in 1080 format! not 1296!
