Significantly cheaper replacement
Upgrade: You get what you pay for. Filters continue to pollute the water with carbon, causing the water to turn a grey-black colour. It lasted two weeks so I just swapped out the filters (they should last at least 3 months) and threw them in the trash where they belong. I'm not sure if they aren't the cause of frequent stomach pains in my daughters. do not buy! For the price of an original GE filter I can buy two of these and they last and look just as good as the original filters (no scientific information, just an observation).
