This year we decorated my wife's aging parents' Christmas tree with this lightweight yarn. Let's just say the results were greatly appreciated. A string of lights is surprisingly light and thin. The wires are very malleable and easy to install. The lights are tiny. However, turn them on and you will notice! They are beautiful on the tree but not overwhelming. The tree pictured is an artificial tree measuring 7-1/2 feet tall with a base diameter of about 4 feet. We lit it with a thread and we are very satisfied. With the push of a button you can select one of several lighting modes. We usually alternate between solid white and solid color, both of which are equally attractive. The imprint on the remote detailing the various options is microscopic, which is disappointing. The remote works well enough - you just have to make sure it's pointed at the base of the plug that goes into the wall. (Aiming at a tree most of the time won't work.) This string of lights is recommended for its ease of use, flexibility (it's nice to be able to choose different lighting schemes), and attractiveness.
