I bought his stock as a Christmas present for my father-in-law. When we put the batteries in, it worked fine at first. Of course we tested it before installation. During our testing, we found that the light only comes on when the magnet touches when it should turn off, and comes on when it's not touching. My father in law had to install in his bunk so he can control the light and not turn it on and distract while driving. But you get what you paid for. I went cheap and I got cheap.
