Not strong enough
It definitely helped keep my handlebars from kicking back due to my new fork basket, but still not strong enough to keep them straight. I have a heavy commuter with panniers, tripod stand and front bag and the bike became too heavy for its original footpegs and the wheel kept spinning. It helps a little, but the spring isn't strong enough to keep the wheel straight when parked. He still wants to fall on his side. The spring can be replaced with something from a hardware store.
