This is a great upgrade to previously available blanks. The old body blanks were 1) no more durable than the original Hondas (perhaps less durable), and 2) they still required the dealer or a specialized locksmith to fabricate the blank. I used them to replace the original key fob and the key fob case that I replaced previously. The one it replaced earlier had a slightly different design at the end of the metal blank. Instead of a crooked "T" at the top, it was just a straight bar with a threaded hole. I had no problems with it or the original. Both are tight and seem very strong. I had the original wrench with a dead battery and a stripped screw, so I intentionally broke it and used a vise to remove the screw before inserting the piece of metal into this new case.
