Review on 8 Port Rackmount Switch 2 Port B043 DUA8 SL by Ray Adair

I may have received a poor quality unit, but I don't think this switch lives up to what a $600 unit should cost at best. Very slow switching between sources. The video stream is noisy, ranging from slightly annoying to unusable. USB sometimes needs to be disabled for the keyboard to work. I didn't really need an 8-port box, but I wanted a well-sized rack mount. I replaced another cheaper 4 port box we had and saw the difference between day and night in terms of switching speed, video clarity and no USB issues (only the switch changed, none of the cables). We will buy something else to permanently replace this block.
