Only needs one of the 4 washers. It would be nice if it came with instructions saying so, as well as instructions saying you want to push the lever up to turn the bidet on and down to turn it off. What a waste of time installing twice only to notice a couple of leaks that should have been patched with tape. I'll look for another one next time and if you need to buy this don't forget the duct tape. Other reviews have already mentioned the poor design of the rounded top that screws onto the tank, making it difficult to tighten with a wrench.
