My house has always had problems with interference from the nearby radio tower. I decided to simplify my network and connected this copper wire to a couple of terminals (because they are much better quality than the jumpers that came with the speakers). I used to use a two wire connection to improve the detail on my towers, but I really think the quality of this wire makes it unnecessary. The speakers all seem to have plenty of volume and there's no hiss (I think the quality and maybe the red and black wires twisted around each other helps with interference). The only other feature I haven't mentioned is that the outer shell has markings for each leg. So it's nice that you can easily identify each row of speakers.
