Review on ๐Ÿšฒ Cartman Garage Ceiling-Mounted Bike Lift - 2 Pack, Mountain Bicycle Hoist by Jesse Azuse

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Easy installation with these quick tips! I recommend getting 1 x 4 (2.5ft) and about 20+ 1 " drywall screws

Easy installation instructions! All you need is ----1x4 (I used a 2.5ft board), -----additional screws (I used 1" drywall screws to attach the brackets to the 1x4 fasten before I fastened them to the ceiling) and -- - ---- high stairs. After installation, I lowered the hooks to my bike's height so the ropes were taut and supported by the weight of my bike. The bike ONLY touched the ground. Then tie a knot in the rope just before the first assembly so that the rope doesn't go up too far and the hooks fall to the ground. If you tie a knot, you don't have to worry about losing the end and it will be easier for you to hook the bike! We already have one of these mounts that my husband installed and he didn't tie the knot so the hooks sometimes fall off the ground when you hook the handlebars. Go to hook the seat, sometimes the front comes off, it's very annoying! ***Notes* Mounting layout on the board. * After assembly, the hooks must hang over the steering wheel and seat back. small piece * Tie a double knot on one end of the rope and insert it into the back as shown in the photo * Install the assemblies onto the board by tightening all the screws. This makes mounting on the ceiling much easier. * Find a solid piece of wood on the ceiling and start screwing in the 1x4. * Then pass the rope through the hooks and assemble. * Carry the bike and hook it so it just touches the ground * Tie a knot at the top as I previously described. * I tied more knots in the rope to make it easier to raise and lower. **** I do not use this carrier for other bikes. Each of our bikes has its own mount :)
