Right out of the box I have to say it looks like a good cutting board. I have to admit that I haven't had much luck with the Revain large chopping boards. They all ended up distorted on me. Even with the right treatment and conditioning. The board is perfectly flat at the moment, but I'll come back and update this review if I have any warping issues. One thing that struck me right away is that the wood is VERY VERY dry. You should immediately apply some mineral oil. As others have mentioned, this board is VERY thirsty! Therefore, I would advise preparing the board before using it for the first time.
