So far, so good. Go to Tires and Tubes

I bought these tires knowing that tire pressure checks are a must. When I ride the dam in South Florida, I've made a habit of checking tire pressure before every ride. I will say that between rides (every other day) I have seen a 5-15lb drop in pressure. You're also 38th, not the declared 40th. That's bad. Now for the good. At 30 pounds in the front and 35 pounds in the back (mine is 205 pounds) they roll very smoothly and very, very fast. Depending on speed and comfort, there may be a lack of movement on the loose gravel. I've ridden it 50km so far. I'll check in about 200 miles. Are they better on gravel than the other 38s I've used before (and still have as backups) not in terms of traction. However, the WTB is more comfortable and faster on smooth gravel and asphalt. Good compromise where I drive.

Pros
  • Tires
Cons
  • without automatic transmission
