Description of ๐Ÿšด Byway 40 x 700 TCS Light/Fast Rolling 120tpi Dual DNA SG2 Tire: Unmatched Performance and Durability

High-volume casing allows the Byway to push further into the dirt than is expected of a semi-slick drop bar tire. Weight-saving 120tpi casing with the added reliability of SG2 puncture protection throughout the entirety of the tire. Dual DNA Compound / Tubeless Folding Bead / Light Casing / Single-Ply / SG2 Protection / 120tpi / ETRTO: 40-622. Available only in black sidewall. Conditions: Pavement - Hardpack - Dirt - Gravel.

Bumpy Ride: Not Worth The Money

Using this product, our team found that these tires were not fast rolling as advertised. The bumps and vibration made for an unpleasant ride. While the light weight is a plus, it does not make up for the uncomfortable and unstable ride. Spend your money on a different set of tires for your Sports and Outdoors cycling needs.

Pros
  • Excellent for mixed terrain riding
Cons
  • Less durable than some heavier-duty tires

So far, so good. Go to Tires and Tubes

I bought these tires knowing that tire pressure checks are a must. When I ride the dam in South Florida, I've made a habit of checking tire pressure before every ride. I will say that between rides (every other day) I have seen a 5-15lb drop in pressure. You're also 38th, not the declared 40th. That's bad. Now for the good. At 30 pounds in the front and 35 pounds in the back (mine is 205 pounds) they roll very smoothly and very, very fast. Depending on speed and comfort, there may be a lack ofโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Tires
Cons
  • without automatic transmission

I'm rewriting this review after using Byway tires on South Florida gravel roads known as Levvee's in the Everglades for the last 2 months. Rating I gave them 1 star! However, I changed mine - But the bad points are still bad - The good points far outweigh the bad points So first the bad bad bad points Bought two of these! Firstly they are really hard to use without tubes, I ride without tubes, you need a compressor or a CO2 cartridge to inflate them the first time! Second, they flow off theโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Tires and tubes
Cons
  • I don't remember but something happened
