These garbage bags are a great sustainable alternative! They are durable, hold lots of waste and don't leak. If you leave enough space, you can just tie the bag shut as there are no laces. I only have two problems with bags. First, they are slightly more expensive. Second, they don't actually hold any odor, so if you have something that smells, a bin liner isn't going to cover it up. If you're trying to run a zero-waste household, this is the perfect bin liner. It makes you more conscientious so you don't throw away as much and need to compost more to keep the odor down.
