Great big pot!

Due to my family's many health and diet issues, I cook all the time and cook from scratch. A good set of pots and pans is absolutely necessary to cook well. I prefer stainless steel because it looks good, doesn't taste bad, and doesn't release toxic chemicals. Stainless steel is easier to clean than most other surfaces. I have a nice set of 18/8 stainless steel pots and pans that includes 2-8 gallon pots and 3 different 5 gallon pots. But until I bought the Cuisinart 77-412 Chef's Classic 4-Piece Stainless Steel 12-Litre Pasta/Steamer Set, I had nothing between 2-gallon and 5-gallon pans. Whenever I've cooked dishes like chili, chicken, and dumplings, I've had to either use my 2-gallon pot and cook a small batch (and risk overcooking the food) or use a 5-gallon pot and either cook a large one Charge or inefficient use of your pan. Pot. The 12 liter Cuisinart pot was a much needed addition to my collection of pots and pans. INCLUDES: One 12 quart (3 gallon) 18/8 stainless steel saucepan with a mirror finish, with pasta insert, steamer insert and stainless steel lid. WHAT I LOVE: Every piece of this set fits in my dishwasher! I hate hand washing pans because I just don't think they get as clean as they do in the dishwasher. This pot is the perfect size for chili! Not only does the chili taste better the second day, but it freezes well for "fast food" on days when I don't have time or don't feel like cooking. If I want to master making homemade chili then I want to make enough to be worth my time. Also, I always end up with more beans than I think after soaking overnight. It's a lot easier to cook chili in this 3 gallon pot than it's ever been in a 5 gallon pot, and I've just never been able to cook less than the 2 gallon chili I use for my smaller pots needed. The noodle insert is great. for cooking whole chickens and other things I want to get out of the cooking liquid. It's also great when I'm making large batches of homemade pasta. I love having fun and this pan is the perfect size to cook up a big meal. I cook in this pan a lot throughout the day and it has never developed a hot spot or given me any problems. The heat is actually distributed across the bottom of the pot, ensuring the food cooks evenly. This pan is not deep enough to make stirring the contents difficult. It's not too heavy to move even when full. WHAT I DON'T LIKE: I prefer the clear lids to the metal ones on this pan. A clear lid comes at a higher price for similarly sized pots, but it wasn't worth the price increase to me. I also have a photo of these two pots with a 12 liter Cuisinart pot between them. I bought the classic Cuisinart 77-412 Chef's 4-Piece 12-Litre Stainless Steel Pasta/Steamer Set at full price.
