Installed on a stationary computer running Windows XP with the normal drivers already on the disk, it functions faultlessly for reception but is ineffective for distribution, despite the fact that this was the intended purpose. After doing some research on the internet, I downloaded and installed some drivers from ralink. Shortly thereafter, my Windows 7 laptop started to distribute software, but I had to put up with the hospital. The most important outcome is that the program, i.e. the utility from ralinka, is installed without any issues, switches to Soft Up mode, to access point mode; however, you absolutely need to shamanize with permission to connect other computers / devices to the Internet of the distributing computer; you need to go into the connection properties of the main Internet, put down the checkboxes for permission to connect and Parameters, try different options - in the end, it should connect. Those who need to organize Wi-Fi for an absurdly low cost should look into it, as it comes highly recommended by me.
