Review on 🔌 Sabrent Converter Prolific Chipset CB DB9P: Fast and Reliable Serial Port Adapter by Brian Douglas

The adapter works fine. I tried this on an HP laptop running Windows 10, it found the drivers straight away. I was able to use the update function in device manager and it found updated drivers. I also tried it on a Dell desktop with Windows 7 and it worked great there too. The only drawback are the side studs with internal thread. I wanted to use it in a rack where the PC and console connection device were in the same cabinet and 2.5 feet would be just right. With female connectors, you can't connect it directly to the console port of the device. The console (DB9-female) also has rivets. Had to use a male to female extension cord, wish the studs were removable. Other adapters sold here have a male thread that connects directly to the console port. I suspect it was designed to be used with a 2.5ft extension. However, the product works great. I've tried adapters with other chipsets or fake Prolific chipsets that don't work properly. It's nice to see the reality.
