Warning: Even though the part number is correct, if you are purchasing this ring for an older pressure cooker (my mum is over 30 years old) it may not work. When I installed and used this replacement, the pressure cooker found that steam was leaking through the handle and not reaching full pressure. Luckily I kept the old ring and we were still able to eat corned beef! Comparing the two rings, I noticed that the replacement ring has a series of 18V notches on the outer edge of the rim. There are only four of these in the original Presto ring. Speaking to Presto support I found that third party replacement parts don't always work so I purchased a genuine Presto ring direct from Presto which worked great.
