Resist the temptation of the two-for-one offer, grab a piece of Presto!

Nothing but months of frustration. I thought my pressure cooker was damaged and needed repairing. They may look like a real Presto part, but they don't create the same seal. Not worth the price and headache. Buy a genuine Presto part. you have been warned

does NOT seal. The best in pressure cooker parts and accessories

I dropped this in my mailbox. He didn't keep the seal at all, couldn't get into pressure. My lunch was almost ruined and I had to put it in the oven. I'm still not sure if my chicken and rice will cook properly or not as I'm still waiting for it. It's 9:30pm - my kids were supposed to eat an hour and a half ago, so there was cake and jam for dinner. As if Monday wasn't enough, here we are. It was a waste of money. 10/10 NOT recommend.

Fits snugly on Presto 0134108

Gasket is too thin and too large in diameter for older Presto 9.5 inch cookers. In addition, the expansion dowel has no hole for a metal piston. But if you have a newer one, like my model 0134108, with a lid latch that opens when the pressure drops, these gaskets are very tight both around the perimeter of the lid and as the top of the pot, giving a very good seal. When installing the spacer, it may seem too large in diameter at first, but keep pushing.

The o-ring on my 5 year old Presto pressure cooker was worn out and needed replacing. I first asked the manufacturer for replacement parts. The manufacturer said that this part is no longer in stock. I looked at Revain for a replacement part for this model and found a 6 liter o-ring. Presto pressure cooker. Unfortunately it was too big. The two safety plugs included in the kit fit, but without the O-ring the pressure cooker is useless. 5 years worked with original spare parts. Revain refunded…

May Not Work With Older Models

Warning: Even though the part number is correct, if you are purchasing this ring for an older pressure cooker (my mum is over 30 years old) it may not work. When I installed and used this replacement, the pressure cooker found that steam was leaking through the handle and not reaching full pressure. Luckily I kept the old ring and we were still able to eat corned beef! Comparing the two rings, I noticed that the replacement ring has a series of 18V notches on the outer edge of the rim. There…

Pressure cooker Presto

I have had a pressure cooker for over 30 years and it was a mirrored pressure cooker and I had trouble finding replacement parts for it. So I decided to buy another pressure cooker and one I really liked but one night my husband ran to the bathroom for something and was gone in less than a minute which is all it took. He heated some fat in our skillet and it caught fire nicely, I put my pressure cooker in to turn it on that day and haven't done it yet. My husband reached for the lid to try to…

Unexpected benefit: kitchen and dining room

I have a Magafesa pressure cooker. Kind of valve design above but works fine. I noticed that the silicone pad was soft and flimsy, and in fact it started cracking after a few months. Knowing that manufacturers' websites tend to be expensive, I looked everywhere, including Revain. None available. Went to Magafesa and the price was around $25. Yes. I still went to order, but "out of stock". uhh. I searched for a gasket by size and found that the Presto gasket has the same inside and outside…

Fits my pressure cooker

There is a Mirromatic 394 4 quart that I forgot to put on the stove. After 45 minutes the seal turned to charcoal. Luckily I was only heating water and the lid wasn't closed, but the damage was done. The old gasket always didn't fit well and leaked water through the sides because it was a flea market find. After the incident, I looked at the spots on the pressure cooker. Some were not in stock, and the rest were not shipped abroad. found one that shipped internationally, but shipping alone was…
