Mediocre low light product

These lights are difficult to rotate. They require strength to turn, are difficult to keep fingers out of the way, and the radio's square edges dig into your hands if you squeeze it and try to hold it while attempting to turn the crank. I dropped it twice when trying to start it. One of the buttons fell off, but I was able to reattach it. The radio played for about 15 minutes after turning the knob about 100 times. The flashlight is very weak and disappointing even when fully charged. The solar panel is protected by a clear plastic cover over it, which is a good thing. This product is said to be IPX3 waterproof, but this radio is certainly not water or dirt resistant. The two halves of the plastic case don't fit snugly together and the battery cover dangles and hangs down as it's only held in place by a screw in one corner. The adjustment knob is difficult to turn. The kit includes a USB cable, another cable with male and female connectors and a pouch with 4 different attachable connectors. Good guide there. It was well packaged and shipped quickly.

Pros
  • This radio is an improvement over other portable chargers, you can fully charge this radio via USB, solar panel or hand crank and then when you need it you can use the radio to charge cell phones or USB devices. Other chargers require continuous manual start to charge the device but not this radio. USB cable included! It also has built-in protection against charging and discharging. replaceable battery compartment.
Cons
