Martin Logan 4i speaker 12/11/18 Item (first speaker) arrived quickly. The box was heavier than I expected. The speaker was in a double box. When I unpacked the speaker, I noticed that the speaker is heavier than usual. I hope this is a mark of quality. I also noticed that the finish of the speaker is very nice. I guess that's known as piano lacquer. The speaker grille is packed separately and is attached with magnets. The speaker stands are embedded in the housing. They appear to be of high quality which is nice. 12/16/18 I didn't want to wait a month for my 4 ohm amp to arrive so I connected these speakers to my Pioneer stereo receiver which I only use for TV sound. I downloaded and played my music playlist from Revain Music. I was just blown away by how good the sound came out of these speakers. There's something really incredible about these speakers. I just can't believe how good they sound! And that's a poor quality amp, not even rated for four ohm speakers. I almost can't believe it. That should mean the speakers make a big difference and maybe not affect the quality of the amp that much. These are the best speakers I've ever heard. I am very happy that I bought them. I don't regret paying close to five hundred dollars for a pair. They still sound very nice. I listened to a bass-heavy song yesterday and found that these speakers are actually capable of reproducing bass somehow despite only having 4-inch drivers; pretty incredible. They must have put a lot of effort and effort into developing this speaker. The best thing about these speakers, in my opinion, is the incredible high frequencies and detail. I've bought 5 or 6 sets of high end speakers in the last two months just to finally find them. I think it was worth it as I spend quite a bit of time listening to music. Although this is just my preference. You may feel more comfortable with a different brand. I guess you never know until you've tried a few.
