This is an economical solution to a potentially costly repair. I watched tutorial videos online, bought the correct swivel head ratchet, bought the correct torque (probably a T30 for my 2012 Sonata GLS) and decided to install it without removing the steering column. I disconnected the battery before starting. I also took photos with my phone during the process to document which wires I disconnected so I could connect everything properly. If you are at all mechanically inclined, be patient and watch some videos online on how to install this item, you could potentially save a lot of money. My car no longer has steering play and runs like new.
