It's basically a fan. The AC function is why I bought it and the function didn't even work. I tried refilling the water tank, re-soaking and re-inserting the cotton swabs, but it still didn't work properly. Eventually one side that was supposed to emit cool air started to fog up, but after a few seconds it stopped and I reverted to a simple fan. So it's not what you're hoping for when you're looking for a desktop AC unit. This is a fan.
