I've used several Convergent Design products over the years, most recently the Apollo VCR. I have always been very impressed with the quality and reliability of all their products. These guys are super innovators, they are always leading the industry with new ideas and new features. It looks like the Erika wireless microphone is going to be a game changer. No bodypack, no cables under your shirt, expandable to 12 microphones without a mixer, super small and easy to connect. No need to install software or drivers, just plug and play. Very easy. I was pleasantly surprised by the improvement in sound quality from Erica over my laptop's microphone. I noticed a very slight decrease in the "brightness" of the sound, but echoes and room noise were significantly reduced. Overall audio clarity has improved and I can finally walk around my office and be heard by my colleagues on Zoom. I bought an Erika 1 microphone for my remote office for Zoom and Teams calls. But I look forward to expanding my set in our office to 8 conference room mics. All in all a great product that like previous products I have purchased from Convergent Design will only get better with firmware updates. Can't wait to see what's new in the future...
