Review on πŸ“± TACKFORM Motorcycle Phone Mount: Securely Hold Your Phone with 1" Ball Connection by Corey Slivinsky

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Good stable phone mount

After losing my phone due to the flimsy design of the "X" RAM phone mount, I researched long and hard for alternatives and finally decided for a motorcycle phone TackForm. RAM ball hitch mount for my new motorcycle phone mount. Others that I thought were safe required some sort of special phone case to attach the phone to their mount. Because I use a magnetic mount when driving and love the simplicity and convenience of this system, I didn't want to use a phone case with a specific mount. I was a bit skeptical about the grip of the tackform holder, but after trying it I was happy with its grip. I have an iPhone Xr with a protective bumper phone case that fits snugly into the tackform phone mount. I'll use the tether provided because I'm paranoid having already lost a phone, now I'm the strap and braces type, but it's probably not necessary as the tackform mount is strong, especially compared to the sluggish one RAM phone on the wrist. To install. I also seem to be built to be bulletproof so hopefully it will be good for a long time.

Pros
  • High marks for grip and durability from testers
Cons
  • Not as thick as other options
