Replace the key fob internals with the old programmed key fob, otherwise simply install a new system.
I didn't have to bring it to the store 3 hours in advance to program because no one could find the box needed to set it up. I took the "guts" out of the old one and put them in the new case. Problem solved. However, they would be useless if I really needed a replacement. If you can't, my advice is to just install a new system unless you have a reputable dealer in your town. 3 hours each way for me, so it will be cheaper to buy a new system in the future. Lesson learned, get extra trinkets when you install and you'll be fine in 10 years.
