It took me a while to get all the cables and adapters I needed, but this article has worked really well for me so far. I have a desktop computer at home, a working laptop in a docking station, and two 19" monitors. I have an old Dell keyboard and wireless mouse. I can easily switch between home and work. I had problems with my laptop when I turned off the laptop display so I could only use two 19 inch monitors. With a little fiddling it worked. The only thing I haven't started with yet is sharing a printer, but I'm not too worried about that. I am very happy with how it has worked so far. It took a bit of fiddling and a bit of research to find the right adapters. Other reviews were very helpful, especially when it came to the DVI to VGA adapter on my laptop's docking station. The most useful piece of advice I found was to be careful with adapters. I'm so glad I had two computers and ONE workspace. Now all I need is the perfect cabinet for my printer, laptop, desktop and other things cluttering the office space. If I do that, I'm ready!
