Mediocre at best in kitchen and dining room

The metal trays have an adhesive backing so you will need mounting tabs or similar. This would be fine for large condiments, but for something like garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, etc. They get in where the lid makes contact with the metal can and cause them to either squirt out a little or in my case garlic- or onion powder, so that they do not turn away from growth at all. Also, some of the lids were pretty loose on the jars and I don't think they will last long. The magnetic backs were fine, had no issues with them and there are a few extras in the kit in case they fall out of the cans. I would not recommend them due to the extra leakage that slips between the lid and can on the vertical surface that squirts out and the fact that fine particles of spice get trapped between the lid and can, preventing the lid from rotating. They might work if you put crafting materials in, but the spices are such a pain in the ass. I wish I could return these.
