Review on πŸ“¦ Jubor Laptop Base Stand for MacBook Pro - Adjustable Laptop Riser Cooling Stand - Ventilated Portable Foldable Ergonomic Holder - Compatible with 13", 15", 17" Screens by Richard Miller

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Fits 2015 15 " MacBook Pro, Nice 1.25 " Tilt

I bought this unit because the incline of the others I've seen at Revain was too steep. Even from the photos I could tell that the wrists of the users (typists) were at an angle (her - stretched out at the wrist) which I don't want or tolerate. They mention sizes from 2.5 to 3.5 inches on the back. That's important, and unless I'm using an external Bluetooth keyboard, I couldn't tolerate that wrist angle for long. I have the Rain Designs M stand when using an external keyboard. Received this device and used it for about two hours today. In the fully open position (arms are fully in possession of the X and rear arms are fully extended) it fits my 2015 15" MacBook Pro perfectly. Doesn't wobble, doesn't move. For me, that's the perfect angle. Me guessed that a spine height of 1.25-1.5 inches was ideal because I was experimenting with putting books under the back of the computer (which I would have kept using if they hadn't slid across the table while typing). was worried that the front two prongs would get stuck and get in the way of my hands while typing [especially my palms, but that's not the case because it's a thick-bodied laptop; if I'm using a thin laptop like the new Macbook Air 2018 I don't know how these pins are printed, maybe you're fine as the hand is a little tilted and hovering over them and maybe they would get in the way as they would stick out significantly Time and tests will tell. For my machine and laptop it's worth the price. I'd prefer a solid one with fewer moving parts and it's a bit of an issue putting it back together every time and I wonder if the threaded knurled bushing on the rear legs will stick or break over time. . The time will show. It would have been better if it was more like the one-piece slanted designs available throughout Revain, only measuring 1.5 inches in height.

Pros
  • βœ…Adjustable feet allow you to place them out of reach of the tabs attached to the laptop and indicate where to secure each position; The front handles also stick out high enough to keep your laptop from slipping
Cons
  • Slightly torn
