Well I got it over a year ago and I keep it in my car so I never forget it when I go to THEATER. I read a lot of negative reviews about people saying they don't work and over half of them talked about using it with 3D TVs at home. Of course they don't work for that! This is for cinemas. Also, you need to know what type you use in cinemas. If you go to IMAX, use IMAX lenses. Almost everything else uses RealD 3D technology, so they'll likely see a lot more use. Passive 3D technology depends on the type of cinema and is basically not compatible with 3D home TVs. To do that, you need the exact kind of glasses your manufacturer recommends, which could be a big reason nobody makes 3D TVs anymore. Don't be fooled by negative reviews. These things are great. I'd say the picture is misleading - they don't have writing on the outside, the only writing is on the case - so make sure you use the right ones and put them back in the right case or you'll hate yourself , when you're in the theater.
