With a flat brush and a round brush you get almost everything you normally need to style your hair in the morning. The brushes are well made, with the paddle brush tips partially covered in rubberized plastic to prevent scratches. You'll also notice a small hole in the part that holds the bristles; This is done to release air, which allows the hand to remain crooked. The round brush has layered bristles to go through your hair and reduce frizz. I think a large comb is designed for easy combing of long wet hair. As a person without long hair I like this comb but I don't think I will ever use it. A 5-star rating is a value-based decision; I think it's about as good as any other set you'll find at this price point, and probably way better than most. You can buy a better set but it will probably cost you a lot more than this one.
