So here's the thing. I've used a decent number of mics and this isn't the worst I've used. It can be a lot worse with cheap microphones. All in all, this mic can be used if you don't have a better option. Having said that, I wouldn't recommend this mic as almost any decent mic headset will perform better or the same. This mic is like a Christmas present from a family member, not so useless that you'd throw it away, but not good enough for regular use either. In other words, if you're buying this for yourself you should treat yourself better, and if you're buying this for someone else just give them a gift card if you can't afford to buy them a decent mic.
