Worth it if you love coconuts
It works quite well. It takes a few shots but the hole it makes is perfect. This is much easier than using a hatchet or cleaver and makes a very clean hole - I didn't get any shell fragments into the coconut while using it. It's also a hole big enough to easily push a spoon through to scoop out the meat.
