Review on ☕️ Airtight Cold Brew Iced Coffee Maker and Tea Infuser - 1.0L / 34oz Brewing Glass Carafe with Spout and Removable Stainless Steel Filter by Ovalware RJ3 by Matt Tito

First of all I LOVE this coffee maker. Makes a great cold drink and is very easy to clean. High quality SS filter and cap. Unfortunately, the carafe is EXTREMELY FRAGILE. I've already broken two of them, I won't buy the third one. Both broke in the same place at the base. The first time I've just brewed a full pot and barely (and I mean really hardly) tapped it on a shelf in the cupboard as I put it away (I cook at room temperature). Coffee was everywhere and I had to wash every dish there. The second time it was empty and broke when I put it next to the sink. I was so shocked because I was even more tender the second time. For $40 I expect it to be MUCH more durable. Several other reviewers had the exact same issue, so be careful with the buyer. To be honest, this decanter has to be made out of Pyrex. You can buy a 1 liter Erlenmeyer flask from Revain for less than $13 that is almost the same size and shape as this decanter. I have one for brewing and it's indestructible. The thing is, I think Ovalware can offer a $40 version of Pyrex and still make a good profit on their product. It would be the perfect cold beer maker and I would buy another one right away!
