I don't use as much grind as I need as I like a less strong drink. The rubber gasket is easy to remove from the filter to put it on the lid so it's completely sealed so the smells now mix and I don't have to worry about spills. Overall I give A++. I was afraid to order because of all the complaints about the glass being too fragile, but the crockery isn't as flimsy as it is portrayed! I accidentally slammed it twice on a coffee mug and it didn't break like some reports claim. I also compared it to a jar I bought from Ikea and they were comparable. It also came with a rubber mount which I will probably keep. Fits on the bottom shelf of my fridge and is easy to clean. I will also look into other oval pieces. I'm so glad

This is a beautiful cold brew coffee maker which I bought during Prime Day at a decent price. Before, I made cold coffee using a glass pitcher and a cheesecloth strainer.
