I bought these for my new computer. If you've never used it, there's one part that attaches to your laptop and the other part slides in to open a sort of window around your webcam. So it requires some care in positioning. What I didn't like is that the two parts aren't physically connected like my previous laptop. In this way, the slider opens to the stopping point and does not go any further. However, this is easy to understand. Think about how the drawer will stop and prevent you from pulling it out all the way. Because the item is small, it is easy to lose. Luckily I didn't drop it, but I have to be very careful every time I open the window. There's a little ledge you can feel to let you know not to pull any further if you're careful. Replacing the slider that was removed was difficult as it is so small. Not that it's insanely difficult, but annoying. Also, it's too wide and I had to position it so that the top edge protrudes slightly from my cover so the bottom edge doesn't obscure part of my screen. Like my laptop's tongue sticking out a bit haha. On the other hand, it's beautiful and my goal was to have something beautiful to look at. And it allows me to block the camera without resorting to stickers. Probably too expensive and I had to buy three.
