I bought another version of these, they were black so I could hardly see them let alone if they were open or closed. Also, it was so small that it was difficult to open/close with an adult's fingers. You can tell at a glance whether they're open or closed, and they're easy to manipulate, even with huge fingers. They also add color to your laptop!

This camera case is good for a laptop or an iPad, but too big for a phone, even if the product name says otherwise. The last image shown does not correspond to the product, it shows a different, much smaller size. I have purchased other camera cases before and they matched what is shown in this picture but this white camera case is much larger than thumb size.

So it requires some care in positioning. What I didn't like is that the two parts aren't physically connected like my previous laptop.
