I was looking for an adapter to connect 2 monitors to a Yoga 900 ISK laptop. The laptop only has USB-C with alt. Mode. I couldn't find any information on whether it supports mst (multistream). So I took a picture. Luckily this is happening. Works flawlessly. I have Linux Mint 18.2 and everything worked out of the box, I just had to adjust the position of the monitors. Now the only problem is switching between profiles, i.e. connection via adapter and offline mode - the OS always thinks I'm connected, but this is obviously an OS configuration issue. In any case, highly recommended. You can also supplement it with a small USB to RJ45 + USB adapter (about $15), and you don't need huge DisplayLink-based docking stations that require additional power and work via USB drivers.
