Review changed best to computer cable adapter

Still not working after a year how do I get a replacement, does it say there is a 3 year warranty? UPDATE: 2.25.20 I am changing my original rating from 1 to 5 for customer service only. I had a remote session with tech support, the device broke and was replaced. I use this on both my MAC laptop and my X1 laptop. I will buy another product from this company.

An almost perfect solution for Computer Accessories and Peripherals

I got this to be able to switch from plugging in/unplugging three monitors to just plugging in one device when I get my laptop to work. So he's doing a great job. It even solved my problem where Windows just disappeared into thin air after locking Windows 10 and logging back in, so the graphics card drivers are exceptional. However, I am currently having an issue where one of the monitors is not working. wakes up when it starts receiving a signal, so I have to turn it off and back on every time

This device is not working properly

This is causing USB C (dp) connection issues with my Dell Inspiron 13-7378. I have three 27" Samsung monitors. One connects to the HDMI port on the Dell. The other two connect to this splitter via HDMI. The computer works with 4 monitors, however I had to set each external monitor to 59Hz before the two connected to this unit worked. The 59hz solution I found by accident and not on the advice of Startech. Before that the monitors were connected to these units, worked for about an hour and thenโ€ฆ

Great adapter, works great with Linux

I was looking for an adapter to connect 2 monitors to a Yoga 900 ISK laptop. The laptop only has USB-C with alt. Mode. I couldn't find any information on whether it supports mst (multistream). So I took a picture. Luckily this is happening. Works flawlessly. I have Linux Mint 18.2 and everything worked out of the box, I just had to adjust the position of the monitors. Now the only problem is switching between profiles, i.e. connection via adapter and offline mode - the OS always thinks I'mโ€ฆ

Good with non-Apple laptops. Annoying Quirks

works as advertised on Surface Laptop 3. I can expand my desktop to 2 additional monitors at 2560 x 1440 @ 60Hz. it harnesses the magic of MST/alternative displayport mode. So it doesn't need any drivers or Displaylink nonsense. great for performance. Image quality is good, but this largely depends on the graphics capabilities of the laptop. it is very portable. While it's plastic, it feels good enough and well built. Unfortunately, the extension cord has numerous quirks that make it a bitโ€ฆ
