I really wanted them to work. I need a USB 3.1 Gen II SSD RAID solution. This was the only product I could find and unfortunately I will be returning it (I bought 2). After meticulously installing my new SSDs, 4 in total (2 in each enclosure), I set the switches appropriately, held down the Install button for 10 seconds until the lights blinked, then waited. I followed the instructions on the T.1 drive connected to my PC after several attempts. 1 disc didn't do that at all. I know how to use disk utility and assign drive letters, create partitions, install MBT, etc. 1 of those drives just won't load. The other unfortunately connects after an hour and then randomly disconnects. At this point it needs to be powered off and then back on to reconnect. Since I wanted to use it for super-fast video editing, this is absolutely not suitable. I am disappointed and angry that I wasted my time. Before throwing away the box, make sure your case stays plugged in.
