Do not waste your money

After I put it to the test, I was extremely disappointed. The enclosure was difficult to set up and had slower transfer speeds than advertised. The only positive aspect was the sturdy build quality. However, the cons far outweighed the pros. I would not recommend this product to anyone in the market for a hard drive enclosure.

Pros
  • Provides fast transfer speeds with 10Gbps connectivity, allowing for quick data access and backups
Cons
  • Requires a compatible 10Gbps interface on the host device, limiting its compatibility with older computers or devices without this feature

Factory packet error

Device failed initially. The maximum transfer rate with SSDs (either JBOD or R0) was below 44 MB/s for sequential reads. The same USB 3 connector (immediately after the tests above) delivered a sequential read of 114 MB/s with a cheap flash drive, so there was no connection problem on the computer I was using. Often the drives weren't recognized after being plugged in or powered on, and changing the raid to R1 never let the drives mount. All configurations and changes are well documented in the

Pros
  • RAID SUPPORT: With RAID 0 support, the USB 3.1 hard drive enclosure maximizes the performance of SATA III SSDs. The dual-bay enclosure also supports RAID 1, Big, and JBOD.

1 not connected, 1 temporarily disconnected - RETURN

I really wanted them to work. I need a USB 3.1 Gen II SSD RAID solution. This was the only product I could find and unfortunately I will be returning it (I bought 2). After meticulously installing my new SSDs, 4 in total (2 in each enclosure), I set the switches appropriately, held down the Install button for 10 seconds until the lights blinked, then waited. I followed the instructions on the T.1 drive connected to my PC after several attempts. 1 disc didn't do that at all. I know how to use…

Pros
  • ENHANCED PERFORMANCE: The USB Type-C hard drive enclosure supports SATA I, II and III and is enhanced with UASP to maximize the performance and speed of your SATA III drives.
Cons
  • Hard to remember but it was
